Mathematics Research Centre (MRC), Mary Matha Arts and Science College, Mananthavady was established in the year 2005 as an approved Research Centre in Mathematics of Kannur University, Kannur, Kerala, India. MRC was nourished and encouraged by the Mathematical Sciences Office (MSO), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi, by the approval of a major DST-sponsored spearhead project entitled “Set-Valuations of graphs and their applications” for implementation at the MRC. In its quest for excellence, MRC has since research activities in a wide spectrum of pure and applied areas of mathematics, mainly focusing its attention on Graph Theory and allied areas in its first phase. Being rich with Research Scholars, Visiting Professors, research publications, etc., MRC is leaping ahead to spearhead the research and training activities at this rural and tribal region of the naturally picturesque Wayanad district in the State of Kerala where people are very eager to get sound education.
